Description

• Administer injections, administer oral medication, and administer enemas; record all information on patient charts accurately and in a timely manner

• Observe and report changes in patient condition such as temperature, heart rate, blood pressure etc.

• Monitor patients’ morale and behavior to assist them in recovering from emergencies

• Mix medications when necessary

• Perform physical examinations of patients under your direction

• Inform patients’ family members about their patient status and give them the necessary information to support their support efforts

• Cooperate with doctors and other staff members

• Adhere with all health regulations concerning nursing care

• Maintain a clean and orderly patient room at all times

• Participate in team meetings

Qualifications

Must be a Colorado Springs, CO Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or hold a current graduate diploma from an accredited school of nursing. (Healthcare experience is preferred but not required). You must also pass a background check and meet or exceed minimum qualifications.
