Quality Inspector – CCA & Electronics – Level 3

Location: Baltimore, MD

Duration: as needed based on customer/supplier requirements

Frequency: 3 x per week; (or) as needed.

Pay Rate: Based On Experience, competitive wages ranging from $30.00/hr. - $35.00/hr.

• Travel Time paid (round trip) to and from supplier facility *must be within 90 miles from Baltimore MD*
• Mileage Reimbursement at GSA rates.

What to Expect:

This is a contract position in which you will be supporting our client in Baltimore, MD. Interfacing directly with the customer to ensure all requirements and schedules are met. You will be working on-site at supplier facility, as needed, assuring the quality of components and assemblies, specifically Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA)

Job Description:

• Conduct incoming inspection of CCA
• In Process witness inspections
• Ability to detect defects on highly complex products, verify documentation packages to industry/commodity-specific standards, classify defect types, and very rework conducted during the time of the inspection.
• Other quality related tasks

Certifications Required:

• Certified or previously certified IPC-610 or J-STD-001. If certificate is expired, expiration date is required (OR)
• 10 years working knowledge

Qualifications:

• Hands-on visual inspection experience
• Familiarity with build process and inspection of complex circuit cards
• Knowledge of ISO 9000 and AS9100
• Experience performing First Article Inspections (FAIs)
• Experience with visual and mechanical inspection of a variety of electronics including but not limited to: PCB, PCBA, Active and Passive Components
• Ability to use predetermined methods and specifications to visually inspect in-process and completed products
• Knowledge of various measurement devices such as calipers, scales, dial indicators, micrometers, microscope etc.
• Detail Oriented and have strong organizational skills
• Must be able to work in manufacturing environment 
• Must be able to stand for periods of time
