This IT Support Specialist provides Field Level/In-Store harware and software installations, configurations, upgrades, maintenance, and repairs workstations, printers, peripheral devices, and software for multiple locations.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies, investigates, and resolves users’ problems with computer software and hardware.
  • Fields support calls, chat, email, and/or other communication from users with inquiries regarding software programming, connectivity, printing, and similar concerns.
  • Consults with users to determine steps and procedures taken to identify and resolve the problem.
  • Applies knowledge of computer software, hardware, and procedures to solve problems.
  • Guides users through diagnostic and troubleshooting processes, which may include use of diagnostic tools and software and/or following verbal instructions.
  • Collaborates with other staff to research and resolve problems.
  • Collaborates with programmers to explain errors and/or recommend modifications in programs.
  • Arranges service by software or hardware vendors to repair or replace defective products.
  • Maintains knowledge of technology innovations and trends.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • New Site Setups: assembles, installs and configures New sites for turn key operation of all technology.
  • Setup and Configure New User IT Equipment including furniture supporting IT Equipment.
  • Run Network Drops for new and existing sites
  • Coordinate with Construction teams for electrical setup.

    Required Education & Experience

    • Associate degree in Information Technology or a related field or one (1) year experience

    Preferred Education & Experience

    A Certification, CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or Network Plus Certification

    Advanced working knowledge of modern desktop operating systems and related computer technologies

The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, extensive reading, transcribing, and viewing a computer screen.

    Work environment: The noise level in the work environment is moderate. The employee is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions. 100% Travel Required.
