The Engineer will be working in a dynamic team environment building reusable SaaS components to ingest various types of data into a cloud environment using ETL tools.Qualifications:• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline.• 5 years of related software development experience.• 3 years’ experience with implementation of large enterprise systems or distributed computing environment• 7 years in Java, C# is a plus but not required.• Proficiency in Java, Spring, JPA and Hibernate.• Proficiency in RDBMS including SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle.• Proven track record of designing scalable, distributed software applications.• Object-oriented design and programming experience.• Proficiency in ETL development using tools such as Pentaho.• Experience in solving big-data problems using Open Source technologies such as Hadoop and HBase on a cloud platform.• Experience using COTS products to integrate systems at an enterprise level.• Familiarity in UI front-end development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. • Experience in building business workflows using Business Process Management tools using Activiti, jbpm, and Alfresco.Clearance: Prefer Candidates possess a Department of Defense SECRET security clearance.
