Job Description

Reporting to the Facilities & Maintenance Manager, the Industrial Electrician will support the organization by installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, machinery, and equipment at the New England Sites.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

• Install, maintain, repair, and replace electrical systems, machinery, and equipment. 
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues using appropriate testing devices and techniques. 
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical systems. 
• Enters daily, weekly, and monthly scheduled and unscheduled work orders in the CMMS database. 
• Assist the other maintenance members on shift when additional resources are required. 
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications. 
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management. 

Qualifications

Required

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and industry standards. 
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications. 
• Ability to Install safety and distribution equipment and components. 
• Familiar with 120V, 208V, 240V, and 480V single and three phase systems. 
• Ability to Prepare, bend and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. 
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy. 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. 
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills. 
• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience as an Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing setting
• Licensed Journeyman Electrician in the state of Massachusetts
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Basic Computer Skills

Preferred

• Five (5) or more years’ experience as an Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing setting.
• Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) experience
• Licensed Master Electrician in the state of Massachusetts
