Job Summary

The Veradigm Design & Human Experience team ideates, envisions, and crafts meaningful digital experiences for healthcare professionals and their patients across the care continuum. The team's three core capabilities of Research, Strategy, and Design are orchestrated to elevate the electronic health records (EHR) and practice management (PM) experiences within Veradigm's suite of Provider products.

Veradigm Experience Strategists span the bridge between research insights and designed experiences. They craft experience brilliance through human-centered experience strategy. They are empathetic technologists who are immersed in experimental and emerging technologies. The voice-of-customer is their north star for all their efforts, and they ignite experience design re-thinking for empowered customer engagement. Leads projects and initiatives to build best-in-class customer and end-user experiences for Veradigm's products and services.

• Partners with User Experience (UX) researchers, UX designers, program managers, engineers, and product owners to infuse customer-first human-centered design into products, services, and solutions.
• Turns complex customer information into compelling mapped journeys.
• Generates best-in-class journey maps, user flows and interaction models.
• Develops and conducts inspirational and effective workshops with clients, customers and internal teams to continually improve the user experience of Veradigm's products and services.

• Envisions and brings to life intuitive, scalable, and engaging interactions and experiences that fulfill the business strategy and unmet customer needs.
• Maintains cutting-edge expertise in UX theory and practice, ensuring that the user experience is at the forefront of product and service design, reflecting a deep understanding of customer needs and behaviors.
• Leads Projects and Initiatives: Guides efforts to enhance customer and end-user experiences for Veradigm's offerings.
• Collaboration: Works closely with UX researchers, designers, program managers, engineers, and product owners to integrate a customer-first, human-centered approach into the design of products and services.
• Information Synthesis: Transforms intricate customer data into clear and engaging journey maps.
• Creation of Design Artifacts: Produces high-quality journey maps, user flows, and interaction models.
• Workshop Facilitation: Designs and leads dynamic workshops for clients, customers, and internal teams to foster ongoing enhancement of the user experience.

The ideal candidate will have

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Technical / Business experience (Required)
• Master's Degree or equivalent Technical / Business experience (Preferred)
• 7 years' relevant work experience (Required)

Other Skills/Knowledge

• Facilitation skills and experience leading diverse teams through iterative, human-centric sprints and workshops.
• Experience using best practices for user-centered design process (i.e. Design Thinking) and prototyping tools such as Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, Virtual Whiteboarding tools (i.e. Mural, Miro).
• Impeccable verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Strong track record of iterative design and delivery, working closely with customers, peers, and developers from inception through implementation with an eye on continuous improvement.
• Able to interpret ambiguous design problems; works with stakeholders and user research insights to craft design solutions grounded in customer needs and business goals.
• Clearly articulates the basis of design decisions to stakeholders and responds effectively to feedback.
• Uses a variety of design tools to craft an effective approach, develop cost and time estimates, and workplans in response to design requests.
• Demonstrated expertise delivering digital services across multiple platforms and devices.
• Experience with Figma.
• Experience designing global products.
• Experience delivering designs intended for a consumer market.
• Experience working across large teams with multiple stakeholders.
