Roles & Responsibilities

Greets patients by confirming patient identification; reviewing imaging request; checking for special instructions; confirming anticipated services with patient

Gains patient cooperation by reducing anxieties; providing explanations of imaging procedures; explaining equipment; answering questions

Provide timely and accurate assessment, identification and delivery of special procedures or other interventional examination services to access patients

Ensure file systems are set-up properly

Assist in transporting patients

Ensure adequate inventory of supplies and contrast availability

Document supplies used during procedures for utilization and billing purposes

Maintain accurate and complete medical records of radiological procedures

Enter pertinent information in computer system to assist in statistical, research and patient follow up.​

Minimum Qualifications

Required licensure is ARRT (VI)

​Procedures = Angiogram, TAVR, EVAR, TVAR, FEVAR, TCAR, Lead extraction

​Equipment = Siemen’s radiological table and injector

​There are 2 Hybrid rooms and 3 other Rad Techs. We do about 30 procedures a week.​​​

American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

Pay: $58.00 per hour
