Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to various locations. This position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively. Responsibilities: - Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including vans, box trucks, and refrigerated trailers - Load and unload goods from the vehicle - Plan delivery routes and ensure timely deliveries - Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries - Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns - Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving - Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as checking oil levels and tire pressure - Use a forklift to load and unload heavy items, if necessary Requirements: - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role - Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Strong attention to detail and time management skills - Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and navigate stairs when required - Familiarity with local roads, routes, and traffic patterns Preferred Skills: - Experience driving commercial vehicles - Knowledge of refrigerated trailer operations If you are a reliable individual with excellent driving skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service, we encourage you to apply for this position.
