Part Time Community Coordinator Job Description

Job Title: Part Time Community Coordinator

Reports To: General Manager

Hours: Monday through Friday, or as location requires. The intended time for this position is 20 hours a week, within the core Operating Hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The exact schedule to be finalized with candidate and GM.

Description: Community Coordinator assists in the overall operation of their location to ensure a positive and welcoming atmosphere at Venture X.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in the overall responsibility of ensuring the positive and welcoming atmosphere of Venture X with the following:

  • Assist with inventory of the café as needed and managing the par levels to ensure adequate materials both for the members and the internal team
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures to ensure that café and the overall space is clean and ready.
  • Ensuring the cleanliness of the common areas, café, restrooms, and member services throughout the entirety of the day
  • Answering phones and directing information and people as needed
  • Assisting members with needs by finding resolutions or directing them to the appropriate party
  • Meeting & Events Support – supporting the CM in setup/breakdown of meetings (internal/external), greeting guests, etc.
  • Assists in conducting membership tours of space.
  • Member Events– executes scheduled internal member events to create a fun atmosphere that promotes networking.
  • Manage Third Parties for both Virtual Offices and Meeting Rooms. Must manage at least seven different online platforms regularly, for the Virtual Offices it is daily. This is a very important aspect, and vital for Virtual Offices.

Assists with the overall organization and success of the center’s mail both for residents and for Virtual offices with the following:

  • Sorting and organizing all mail
  • Addressing mail requests such as scanning, shredding, forwarding
  • Delivering mail/packages to members
  • Providing general mail support for clients and their associated questions
  • Maintaining and managing all Virtual Mail Platforms

Assist in implementing Member experiences with the following:

  • Create, send, and post monthly newsletter.
  • Prepare and implement member experiences on a weekly basis. This includes following the event schedule, ensuring any shopping is completed ahead of the event, and the implementation and event clean-up.

Essential Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Minimum 1-year experience in the service/hospitality industry

Prior Experience organizing Meetings and Events is a huge plus.

  • High School Diploma Required
  • Ability to work onsite at the designated location a Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
  • High standard of customer service and maintain constant hospitality for our members and guests.

Strong written and oral skills

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate flexibility.
  • Good IT knowledge

Mental Requirements:

Reasoning, remembering, mathematics, appropriate language ability

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to receive written or oral instructions
  • Ability to work with a variety of individuals
  • Ability to listen and respond clearly
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
  • Hearing – Ability to receive detailed information through oral and telephone communication
  • Talking – Clearly expresses ideas by means of spoken word
  • Repetitive Motions – Substantial movements of wrists, hands and fingers.
  • Vision – Ability to see and read
  • Crouching, kneeling, standing, climbing, stooping, walking, pushing, pulling, sitting and lifting
  • Ability to handle small tools such as a drill, hammer, screwdriver, etc.

Compensation & Hours:

This is a part time, hourly position, beginning at $20.00 an hour. This position is intended to work 20 hours. The candidate and GM will determine the schedule, upon an offical offer.
