Position: Dental Practice Manager
Location: University Park, Florida
Type: Full-Time
Our client is looking for a talented Dental Practice Manager to join their prestigious, high-end dental practice in University Park, FL (just outside of Sarasota), primarily operating on a fee-for-service basis. They are dedicated to providing exceptional dental care with a focus on luxury and personalized patient experiences. They are seeking a Dental Practice Manager with strong leadership skills, a passion for healthcare excellence, and a commitment to fostering a professional environment and active community involvement.
This opportunity is not part of a large dental group and this hire will have autonomy to make decisions with the support of ownership and truly be a leader within the practice.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the dental practice to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
Manage financial activities, including patient billing, budgeting, and financial planning to maximize profitability and efficiency.
Implement and maintain high standards of patient care and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
Lead, hire, and train a team of dental professionals and support staff, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones in a competitive fee-for-service environment.
Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts and managing supplies.
Enhance patient satisfaction by ensuring a luxurious and comforting patient experience from entry to exit.
Handle patient complaints and issues professionally and effectively, ensuring patient trust and loyalty.
Utilize advanced dental practice software for administrative duties, including scheduling, records management, and compliance tracking.
Actively participate in community events and initiatives to promote dental health awareness and establish the practice as a community partner.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Proven management experience in a dental setting.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with patients, staff, and other stakeholders.
Knowledge of dental office procedures and terminology.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Prior knowledge of Eaglesoft is preferred
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
At least 3-5 years of experience in managing a dental practice, preferably in a fee-for-service or high-end market.
Demonstrated experience in financial management, staff leadership, and operational optimization.
