VDS Eastern Regional Account ManagerOrganization Overview:Venture Drilling Supply is a family-owned and operated distributor of Water Well, Geothermal, and Mining Drilling equipment with nationwide territories. As one of the largest distributors in the industry, we have a rare opportunity for a position as a Regional Account Manager in our company. Due to the general growth of the population, the infrastructure to support it, and decarbonization efforts, our markets are experiencing continuous growth. Job Description: This role is a base salary plus commission compensation.Venture Drilling Supply is searching for a Regional Account Manager to facilitate the expansion of our Eastern territory. The role will be responsible for creating and implementing sales strategies to drivebusiness growth in the designated region. They will also maintain relationships with existing clients and expand our customer base by identifying new opportunities. This role will primarily focus on the Water Well and Geothermal markets. As a steward of our customers, this position will be responsible for understanding the customers’ needs and proactively and effectively meeting them with our product and service offerings. The effective management of this region will hinge upon the successful development, management, and execution of sales against yearly projections and budgets. This role will act as the primary strategic advancer of our brand in the defined region. Our aim is to ensure our customers are successful in their drilling operations. Since this role is the the primary interface to our brand for the region identified it is responsible for properly managing the customer’s expectations and their perception of our brand. Overview of Responsibilities:The Regional Account Manager will maintain and establish relationships with drilling companies, operators, and corporate organizations that use or adopt our products. They will also learn or possessk nowledge of the drilling industry and the products we sell and support. Additionally, this position will require reviewing, generating, and managing data as we strategically pursue our markets. Job Responsibilities:
Perform Customer need evaluations regularly
Operate with KPI’s that indicate successful relationships for both the customer and VDS
Manage your work against these KPI’s
Properly and proactively manage customer data like account information, employee information, and other data points used for each customer account
Properly understand customer expectations and set them up for success
Develop solutions to problems that may arise in a timely and collaborative manner
Communicate frequently and track all interactions using VDS software intended to manage customer accounts
Report on customer needs and our ability to meet them
Proactively develop sales forecasts in order to meet market demand and comply with budget
Craft and deliver sales strategies to achieve the sales goals
Conduct bi-annual regional market analysis to understand customer desires and bridge the gap with offerings
Strategically participate in events to manage return on investment in attendance and promotion
Develop marketing strategies for the region based on product fit for the market demand
Foster a positive brand reputation with relevant media outlets directed at the region
Advocate for brand recognition and solutions related to problems faced by the industry in the region
Develop and maintain a strong customer satisfaction strategy
Communicate gaps identified in customer satisfaction to the team regularly and promptly
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree and or at least ten years of experience as a revenue driver in the drilling industry
Significant experience working with various revenue channels, distribution, and fulfillment models
Possess a confident presence with strong verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to communicate across various departments
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
Strong analytical skills with the ability to make informed business decisions and recommendations
Ability to thrive in a cross-functional environment, exceptionally resourceful, detail-oriented, and highly organized
Results-driven, proactive, positive attitude, accountable, and drives projects to completion
Proven ability to multi-task and work well under pressure in fast-paced environments
Flexibility to travel for client needs, events, and equipment commissioning
