Ventura Orthopedics is Hiring a Marketing Coordinator Near Ventura, CA

Description

Overall Responsibility

Coordinates and optimizes business development across the practice. Primary duties include coordination of our marketing, online presence, patient satisfaction, branding, referral relations and community outreach. Will spend considerable time executing marketing plan, driving online traffic, creating patient experience program, reaching out to referral sources and promoting visibility of the organization. Teamwork and Cooperation is critical in this role as opposed to working separately or competitively. A strong understanding of the healthcare environment and a high sensitivity to the nuances of health services referral patterns, patient satisfaction, and physician-driven patient care is preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Marketing

  • Create and maintain an overall marketing campaign which drives awareness and knowledge of the organization.
  • Partner with local media outlets, such as television, newspaper and radio, to coordinate advertising campaigns.
  • Execute digital marketing through Google AdWords and socialmedia platforms.
  • Collaborate with graphic designer to produce digital and printmarketing materials.
  • Run booth at events to promote organization, provide touchpointsand create visibility.

Company Online Presence

  • Create and manage website content, architecture (desktop andmobile platform) – initial redesign and ongoing updates.
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO) – coordinated with SEO provider.
  • Online presence data collection (website hits and activity) and dissemination to Executive Team.
  • Social Media content, ongoing media search and response to current events in orthopedic journals or other media as it relates to orthopedics.
  • Online reputation management, work with online reputation provider to monitor multiple sites.

Business Development/Liaison Responsibilities:

  • Develop relationships and generate referrals with professionals such as physicians, therapists, hospitals, local fire and police departments, schools, parks and recreation departments and sports leagues; area employers; legislators; other healthcare and human service providers to create business development plans and engage in business development activities and events for the Market Area.
  • Maintains high visibility within referring organizations.
  • Development and implementation of referral strategies, marketing programs, promotions, and internal/external communications within the stated strategic goals of the company.
  • Proactively define cutting edge electronic communication opportunities to/from referral sources.
  • Seeks input from Physicians/Management/Staff/Patients/Referral Sources to proactively address new opportunities.

Patient Experience/Satisfaction

  • Patient Satisfaction: scores, data collection, feedback to Executive and Management Team.
  • Assist in the creation and management of The Patient Experience program.
  • Provides customer service response to negative online reviews.
  • Monitors client satisfaction by communicating regularly with referral sources.

Branding

  • Gatekeeper of all branding; approve all use of logo and organizational information.
  • Responsible for creation of branding guide and adherence to it.
  • Managing branded items such as logo clothing and other items.
  • Executes branding visibility across our staff, patient, and the community in coordination with company strategic directives.

Community Outreach

  • Organizing community service events for staff and physicians to participate in.
  • Receive and respond to all requests from organizations seeking donations or partnerships.

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before patients, outside vendors or other employees within the organization. 

Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.

Mathematical Skills

Basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing figures. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest and percentages.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of radiation. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
