Looking for a CHEERFUL/CARING assistant to join our team. We are a busy Orthodontic office in Ventura currently looking for an RDA or DA to join our team. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be a dependable team member. Prefer a candidate with back office lab/sterilization experience and front office experience to float between back office and front office.

Job Duties:

- Prepares patient and operatory unit for proper dental procedure including setting up the appropriate instruments for the planned procedures

- Performs orthodontic assisting duties which encompasses most routine orthodontic adjustments in the specialty of orthodontics

- Provide oral hygiene education to patients and family members

- Assisting with other duties as requested

- Demonstrates proficiency in sterilization and disinfection techniques

- Assists in office and orthodontic inventory

Qualifications:

- Must have X-Ray license

- Must have RDA license or OA (orthodontic assistant)

- CPR certification are required.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a Dental Assistant (experience in Orthodontics preferred)

Pay: $22.00- $28.00
