Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Director of Manufacturing to fill an opening with an Automotive Supplier located in Metro Detroit. The ideal candidates should have hands-on experience in high-volume automotive part manufacturing.
Requirements of the Director of Manufacturing
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
- 10 years of automotive manufacturing experience
- Background in plastics, high speed stamping or electronics preferred
- 5 years of management experience
Responsibilities of the Director of Manufacturing
- Oversee Engineering Management
- Production planning
- Strategic engineering planning and decision making
- Oversee all building safety
- Interface with other departments to ensure engineering planning and execution flows to other departments smoothly
- Manage production to ensure delivery of products within cost, quality and timing targets
