Position Summary

As a Senior Marketing Specialist - Automation, you will be responsible for managing the marketing automation platforms at the company and fully leveraging their capabilities. Working closely with internal employees, Division Partners, Business Units and clients, this role will implement all programmatic and operational initiatives through the marketing automation platform. You will be responsible for not only overseeing the administration of the platforms, but also the day-to-day building of workflows, programs and campaigns.

As a Senior Marketing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in contributing to the growth of our organization by working with our Stakeholders to create, optimize and manage sustainable and scalable marketing automation practices. Our ideal candidate is a data-driven self-starter, who can combine process-oriented thinking and data analysis with creative ideation and strategy development. You love working with a creative and collaborative team, while bringing knowledge and expertise to the table.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Business Unit teams to deliver highly effective lead generation, event, and demand generation programs utilizing HubSpot, Marketo, and/or Salesforce.com.
  • Monitor campaigns and their effectiveness and proactively suggest and implement optimizations.
  • Create scalable processes that ensure best practices in campaign setup, conversion, nurturing, list hygiene, and database management.
  • Update marketing campaign workflows as changes to business requirements dictate.
  • Support marketing team in analyzing and reporting marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, performance, etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies.
  • Build custom SFDC campaigns to guide and advise campaign performance.
  • QA campaign setup and data flow from Marketo and HubSpot to SFDC to ensure the integrations are activated for the right programs, and that lead and responses are routing and scoring properly across our tech stack.
  • Assist with ongoing organizational efforts to streamline tech stack.
  • Work with external partners (agencies, contractors) if needed to support campaign efforts.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Deep expertise in marketing automation processes including lead and campaign management, segmentation, personalization, dynamic content, and online marketing.
  • Working understanding of email best practices and industry standards on email deliverability and CAN-SPAM laws.
  • Expertise in Marketo and HubSpot
  • Expertise in Salesforce.com
  • Displays proficient technology skills in Microsoft Office Suite.

Education & Experience

  • 3-5 years marketing experience
  • Minimum 2-4 years experience in both Marketo and HubSpot software
  • Minimum 2-4 years experience working with Marketo and/or HubSpot with Salesforce.com
  • Bachelor’s Degree at minimum
  • Exceptional subject matter expertise in email marketing best practices.
  • Experience building multi-audience and multi-channel campaigns on a global scale.
  • Strong content creation and editing skills.
  • Proven experience with troubleshooting systems, process, and data issues.
  • Adobe Marketo Certified Engage – Certified Professional (Minimum) – Expert (Preferred)
  • All HubSpot Beginner Certifications in Marketing & Sales (Minimum)
