This position is responsible for the full range of pre-award and post-award functions, e.g., acquisition planning, requirements development, solicitation preparation, price/cost analysis, negotiation, administration, termination, and contract closeout utilizing Federal Acquisition Regulations. The Contract Specialist collaborates with various departments, including operations, project management, account management, business operations and finance throughout the contract lifecycle.

Work is medium to heavy demand. Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands, fingers, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear. The employee must be able to lift up to 80 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Requires good visual acuity and hearing.
