Responsibilities:

• Scheduling LTL and Truckload shipments
• Creating and organizing all shipping documents
• Manage shipment delivery paperwork, checking freight bills, and filing claims for damages
• Provide office support for order entry, phone call management, and customer service support
• Preform office administrative duties
• Document and update customer records based on interaction

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in shipping logistics, customer service, and related fields
• Can work in a small office enviroment, has a positive and professional demeanor
• Ability to multitask and prioritize, detail oriented, and strong organizational skills
• Basic computer proficiency in MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ideal Candidate:

• Organized self starter with attention to detail
• Ability to communicate over the phone to identify and provide solutions to customer’s inquiries
• Experience with Mail Merge, Excel formulas, Sage 50, and EDI transactions a plus
