Job Duties:Develops and maintains a thorough knowledge of used trucks and pricingReviews inventory on a daily basisIdentifies leads, manages prospects and acquires new businessMeets or exceeds new business sales goalsCompletes prospecting activities to secure first and follow up appointment with decision makersPrepares and delivers proposals/presentations to customers and key decision makersPrepares and drafts sales agreements and other paperwork needed to complete the sale in a timely mannerChecks credit of potential customersIntroduces customers and prospective customers to VVG financing departmentDevelops and maintains an awareness of the market behavior and competitive trends and responds accordinglyProvides and generates all documents related to credit approvalEnsures trucks are ready, repaired, clean and presentable for purchasing customer Job Qualifications & Requirements:Must present and communicate in a professional mannerExcellent written and verbal communication skillsMust be organized with good time management skillsPossesses proven analytical/problem solving skills for the customer and companyComputer proficiencyPrevious sales experience in the trucking industryExperience in developing and executing sales strategiesPossesses strong presentation, negotiation and closing skillsMust have valid driver’s license and a good driving record Physical Requirements:Must be able to pass post offer drug test. Compensation: $18.50/hour Commission Benefits Velocity Vehicle Group Offers:Fantastic Culture401k matchHealth, Dental & Vision Insurance HSA & FSAEmployer paid Life InsurancePaid Vacation DaysSick LeaveCompany perks such as employee discounts, company events and training programsExcellent Training and Career Advancement Opportunities Velocity Vehicle Group is an equal opportunity employer.
