Looking for a Part Time front desk assistant
We are looking to add a new team member to our thriving Sports Medicine Chiropractic Office located in Westport CT. The office opened 6 years ago and it has a diverse group of patients serving families with a focus on sports medicine. In the office we currently have 2 doctors and a massage therapist. You will be joining our full-time front desk employee and 2 part time billing staff.
We need someone who is comfortable talking to patients about payments and insurance. We need someone who is caring, friendly, confident and most importantly able to multitask. Problem solving capabilities are needed.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
This is an hourly pay position.
· Approximately 20 hours per week
· 7:15 AM- 11 AM most weekdays, alternating one evening (you would have the morning off)
· Job duties include but are not limited to:
· Answering the phone, taking detailed messages
· Ensuring smooth flow of patient traffic
· Scheduling patients with the doctor or massage
· Insurance phone calls for claims and authorizations
· Scanning and filing of documents
· Assisting and interacting with patients
· Occasional assisting the doctor in clinical therapies
· General cleaning in the office as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
Front Desk experience is preferred, but not required
