Job Objective : Responsible for day to day warehouse operations. Overall responsibility to insure Customer Satisfaction through Order fulfillment.

To verify accuracy of inventory levels, schedule daily cycle counts and enter data into the Oracle system. Prepare reports from Oracle system.

Responsible for maintaining the daily flow of orders for the Consumer and Industrial Division through the use of the Oracle as well as associated shipping systems.

Essential Job Functions :

• Prepare weekly past due summary reports.
• Schedule, review, and enter cycle counts.
• Enter and adjust inventories.
• Enter shipments from Mexico into Douglas inventory.
• Compile shipping and receiving documents.
• Maintain offsite warehouse inventory and cycle counts.
• Communicate effectively with production and administration personnel regarding inventory data and reports.
• Generate special reports from Oracle .
• Oversee and perform receiving functions.
• Responsible for coordinating annual independent audit of finished goods inventory.
• Responsible for programming special bar-coding labels for customers.
• Active interaction with Customer Service and Velcromex / Velcro Douglas Shipping department.
• Responsible for facility maintenance and equipment maintenance.
• Must also interface with trucking and small parcel carriers.
• Responsible for ensuring subordinates meet all required training requirements

Job Qualifications :

• Minimum Required : High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 3 years related experience.
• Ability to self pace learning including book, web-base and classroom participation.

Desired :

• Ability to perform computer functions including Data entry, order processing, Word Processing and Spreadsheets.
• Good Communication Skills.
• Ability to act independently with little supervision.
