Join Our Team at VEKA - Production Support Packer

As a Production Support team member, you'll be instrumental in supporting the production area and assisting extrusion operators. From measuring, cutting, and building wooden packaging units to visually inspecting for defects, you'll be an integral part of the VEKA team.

Starting salary: From $__21.00__ per hour plus shift differential:

• Additional $__1.00____ from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm
• Additional $__2.00____ between 7:00 pm - 7:00 am

Key Responsibilities:

• Adhering to safety requirements
• Properly banding, sealing, and bar-coding finished goods
• Visually inspecting for defects
• Transporting finished products and/or scrap
• Maintaining proper housekeeping in the work area

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required
• Ability to read tape measure, use saws, pneumatic nail guns, and various hand tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
