****Position Summary****

The Custodian is responsible for the cleaning and minor maintenance of administrative offices, shops, and common areas at Veits Corporate Centre and associated buildings in Rogers, Minnesota. This is expected to be an 8-hour, late afternoon or evening shift Monday Friday. Shift may be negotiated.

****Essential Duties and Responsibilities****

* Plans, schedules, and performs routine cleaning and light maintenance.

* Routine cleaning and maintenance includes but is not limited to:

Vacuum and spot cleaning of carpets

Cleans hardwood and hard surface flooring

Cleans and disinfects bathrooms

Cleans glass horizontal and vertical surfaces

Deep cleans, disinfects, and organizes conference rooms and common areas

Deep cleaning and disinfecting of kitchen and break rooms

Dusting

Empties garbage and recycling bins

Replaces light bulbs

Orders and replenishes cleaning and maintenance supplies

Performs repairs and/or adjustments of office related items and fixtures

Repairs, adjusts, and/or moves furniture as needed

Hangs pictures or artwork as directed

* Coordinates with shop managers for specific maintenance or cleaning projects

* Other projects or duties as assigned by Management.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**

* At least 6 months of cleaning, custodial, maintenance, or related experience.

* Ability to consistently adhere to cleaning schedule.

* Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers and management, verbally and in writing.

* Ability follow written and oral instructions.

* Ability to maintain compliance with all Veit policies and procedures.

* Ability to respond to shifting priorities with a can-do attitude.

* Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.

* Must possess valid drivers license and ability to maintain satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record.

* Requires 8 to 10-hour hour workdays, Monday Friday. This is expected to be an 8-hour, late afternoon or evening shift Monday Friday. Shift may be negotiated.
