Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Cable Technician to join our team. As a Cable Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of cables and telecommunications equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Duties:
- Install and configure Ethernet, telephone, and other communication cables
- Perform fiber splicing as needed
- Test and troubleshoot cables and equipment to ensure proper functionality
- Conduct network installations and upgrades
- Provide field service support to customers, resolving any issues or concerns
- Use hand tools and specialized equipment to complete cable installations
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards at all times
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed

Requirements:

- Must be able to pass 10 Panel Drug Test
- Familiarity with cabling standards and specifications
- Proficiency in using hand tools and specialized equipment for cable installations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and team members

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary, Temp-to-hire

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Payment frequency:

• 1099 contract
• Paid weekly

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

Ability to Relocate:

• Belton, TX: Relocate before starting work (Required)
