Job Description
Established CPA firm based in Coral Gables seeking an entry level accounting/tax assistant for long term growth and stability. We will broaden your current accounting knowledge and skills.
- Prepare tax returns for individuals, corporations and partnerships - we will train!
- The candidate should have a commitment to client service, deadlines, a willingness to learn and accept new challenges, and be a flexible, highly organized, self-starter who is able to handle multiple projects.
- Process monthly and quarterly write-up work
- Reconcile bank statements, prepare monthly and quarterly sales tax returns and payroll reports (941's, FL RT-6's)
- Maintain relationships with clients
Preferred Experience:
* Accounting major
* Public Accounting and tax experience
* Knowledge of QuickBooks
* Work well under pressure and ability to meet deadlines
* Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
* Proven ability to work independently and as a team
*Strong command of both English and Spanish (required)
