What you'll do:

• Prepare, negotiate, and finalize customer-related contracts including master services, supply agreements, leases, non-disclosure agreements, customer terms and conditions, statements of work, and/or other commercial contracts.
• Facilitate clear communication, evaluations, and reporting of ongoing contract negotiations.
• Participate in shaping the compliance management system and maintain internal contract management.
• Engage and advise in legal issues regarding employees
• Actively participate in employment law situations that involve 3rd party counsel
• Independently review and draft contracts and lead negotiation of strategic contracts.
• Manage and provide counsel regarding labor disputes.
• Work collaboratively with business partners and internal customers.
• Evaluation of legal, financial, and business risks associated with contracts in compliance with company policies, to protect company interests.
• Design and participate in initiatives relating to contract management and compliance due to customer requirements.
• Work closely with Administration departments.
• Manage property, casualty, and other risk insurance items.
• Monitor and update third party safety sites, to include the DISA process.
• Filing annual reports with all states to remain in compliance
• Fluency in English is required, and an understanding of German is a bonus.

What you'll need:

Juris Doctorate from an ABA accredited law school.

Must be registered as active with the supreme court of Ohio and licensed to practice law in the United States.

At least three (3) years' experience with a law firm and/or as an in-house attorney counseling clients on the negotiation and drafting of agreements, ideally with manufacturing clients.
