Purpose:

The Market Data Analyst is a specialist who collects, analyses and processes data to enable VEGA to plan successful product and sales strategies.

As the person responsible for market research and analysis, the Market Analyst's work mainly consists of examining and processing data and information of various types; including sales-related data, consumer demographics, information on pricing policies, distribution channels, points of sale and market penetration.

The Market Data Analyst also prepares market research, which includes surveys, questionnaires, interviews and focus groups, to assess customer preferences, needs and buying behaviour and to obtain customer feedback. Collects statistical data and analyses industry studies in order to identify market trends and potential new target groups. In addition to that, constantly monitors the activities and tactics of competitors to obtain industry benchmarks.

These are your responsibilities:

• Monitor current local market trends and develop appropriate strategies
• Draw up a local business plan
• Collaborate with the PM teams in Mason, OH & Germany
• Actively participate in national trade and industry bodies

What we expect from you:

• Completed course of studies in business Analytics, Informatics, Economics or a comparable degree OR
• 5 years related experience
• Enthusiasm for strategic and analytic thinking
• Ability to travel up to 25%, including international
