Full Stack Software Engineer

Our client, based in Boston, is looking to fill a Full Stack Software Engineer role on a contract basis. This is a hybrid role and requires 3 days onsite per week. The ideal candidate has experience working in financial services modelling and maintaining data related to portfolio accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Develop acceptance criteria as an agile team member on projects that impact the investment accounting groups
• Collaborate on a delivery team to develop, enhance, and support applications supporting the investment accounting groups
• Enhance, and develop data objects, interfaces, and ETL processes
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues impacting the clients production environment
• Identify opportunities to advance capabilities, gain efficiencies, reduce risk
• Perform regular analysis at the code and data level

Qualifications:

• 3 years of relevant experience
• Financial service experience is a plus
• Solid knowledge of modern software design principles, concepts, and practices
• Strong working knowledge of the AWS Technology Stack (e.g. Lambda, ECS, Aurora, etc.);
• Experience writing code in Python and C#, UI technologies such as REACT, Node.js, etc. as well as building and consuming RESTful API’s.
• Hands on experience designing cloud native relational and non-relational database technologies (Aurora, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, DynamoDB, etc.)
