Title: Production Supervisor
Duration: 06 Months with possible extension
Location: West Point, GA
Shift: 1st shift 8:30 am -4:30 pm ( 8 hr days, some OT)
2nd shift 8:30 pm- 4:30 am ( 8 hr days, some OT)
Pay Rate: $23 to 33
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise production team members performing production operations and must be thoroughly knowledgeable regarding the team member handbook, safety manual, and all rules, programs, and procedures that pertain to production team members.
- Responsible for orientation and on-the-job training of team members in the safe, efficient operation of equipment. Evaluate probationary team members based on attendance, performance, attitude, potential, etc. Recommends candidates for hire, promotion, and demotion transfer or release.
- Responsible for maintaining Clients within the assigned department at authorized levels.
Participate and drive HPT initiatives.
- Observe production operation within their area of control to ascertain compliance with methods, quality standards, safety regulations, production standards, and efficient operation of equipment: take corrective action to eliminate any deviation.
- Process all required forms promptly for payroll and Human Resources (i.e. employee status form, timecards, PTO sheets, EIRP reward, etc.).
- Contact Engineering and Maintenance for required repair work.
Education and Experience:
- Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience. HS or GED required.
- Sound knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Language Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, blueprints, and procedure manuals. Candidates can write routine reports and correspondence.
Required Years of Experience:
- 5 years of manufacturing experience
Nice to have:
- Bilingual Spanish
- ADP or eTime experience

Pay: $23.00 - $33.00 per hour
