Responsibilities Monitor and process incoming incident and request queues for escalations from Veeam’s global ServiceDesk team Process production infrastructure and service-related issues from initial alert to resolution, coordinating with specialist teams as appropriate Contribute to ongoing infrastructure maintenance to ensure the smooth operation of both production and non-production environments Provide general administration of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, and Group Policy Maintain and contribute to internal documentation Participate in a wide variety of internal projects and tasks as assigned, including testing, auditing, and deploying new services and hardware across multiple environments Provide coverage for occasional afterhours incident response and scheduled maintenance Qualifications Requirements Self-sufficient, proactive and result-oriented Strong verbal and written communication skills with the flexibility to explain complex topics in a manner suitable for audiences with varying levels of technical expertise 3 years’ experience administering and troubleshooting Active Directory and Windows Server products, including multi-domain environments 3 years’ experience administering and troubleshooting VMware’s vSphere stack (standalone and vCenter environments) Experience deploying and maintaining server, storage, and network hardware in datacenter environments Familiarity with PowerShell fundamentals Strong familiarity the OSI-model and networking fundamentals Nice to have Experience in shell-scripting (Powershell, cmd, bash) Experience with Microsoft Azure and Office 365 administration Experience with Hyper-V Experience with Veeam Backup solutions Experience with high-load and/or high-complexity systems (HCI, HA, FT, etc.) Network/Linux administration background.
