Vector Technical is Hiring a Grinding operator Near Willoughby, OH
Our client, a manufacturer of pneumatic tools, in Willoughby is seeking a motivated individual for set up and operation of grinding and honing machines for our growing department.
1st Shift
Up to $28 / hr., depending upon experience
Candidates should have strong mechanical abilities. Experience with manual machining, measuring and blueprint reading required.
Our honing machines use precision, power-stroke honing to very tight tolerances.
Job Description :
Responsibilities include the setup, programing and operation of the various grinding machines in the department.
Experience with Sunnen Honing machines is desired (SH4000 and ML5000); however, training is available.
Additional experience with the following is a plus :
- Studer OD CNC Grinding Machines
- Supertec OD CNC Grinding Machines
- Sunnen Honing Machines
- DCM Surface Grinding Machines
- Manual Machine Set-up
Requirements :
- Experience with manual lathes and milling machines
- Some technical college helpful.
- Ability to regularly lift and / or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to use various hand tools
