As the Program Manager for Vector’s SOCOM programs, you will lead the team responsible for federal operations exercises within Vector Solutions contracts containing Aerospace, Personnel Services, and Sensitive Activities. In support of these programs, the Program Manager will facilitate collaboration in execution within a multi-vendor, multiorganizational environment according to the strategic plan in place. The ideal candidate must have prior experience managing multiple contract efforts and a successful record of completion to specific program goals and objectives.

Please note: This is a full-time position with a guaranteed 40 hours per week. This position is hybrid to our Valparaiso, FL office.

Duties:

• Management of approx. 50 contract employees & approx. 50 independent contractors
• Manages/oversees full spectrum of recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, & HR functions for program personnel
• Manages invoicing, workflow, scheduling, and timecard management for all contract employees
• Responsible for meeting all technical, financial, contractual, and performance requirements resulting in the successful completion of specific program goals and objectives
• Daily tasks include proposal and contract management, program/project planning, tracking, analysis, team organization and coordination, subcontract management, comprehensive risk planning and mitigation, conducting meetings, customer coordination, technical and analytical guidance to the team, briefing senior management, and assisting senior management team in strategizing across the program enterprise
• Communicate & coordinate resolution of all project-related issues to the appropriate stakeholder lead
• Plans and manages SOF episodic training & exercise events: including personnel management, contract management, logistics & financial management and reporting
• Oversight of quality assurance initiatives across the program(s)

Monday – Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM, Flexible
Minimum travel - 10%

Basic Qualifications:

• Must hold or be able to attain a Secret security clearance
• At least 5 years of experience working within a SOCOM environment
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field
• Experience conducting requirements analysis, resource allocation, project costing and forecasting, deliverable tracking, schedule and finance monitoring/reporting.
• Exceptional Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook, etc.)
• Ability to become familiar with firm-specific programs (Asana, Intuit Time, Concur, etc.)
• Program management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities
• Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
• Organizational skills and strong attention to detail
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership ability

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of program management experience
• Knowledge and familiarity with the Fundamental of Agile Project Management
• Experience with SLA/KPI metrics, inspection metrics, and enterprise risk management measures via dashboard for situational awareness
• Experience maintaining Improvement Plans consisting of self-assessments, surveys, approving mitigations, implementing and tracking corrective action plans for reportable findings
