Workday Configuration Developer

Functional Skills:
• Experience working with SaaS/Cloud-based HR/Payroll technology solutions, including significant expertise with Workday modules: US and Global Payroll, Time, and Absence
• Workday Payroll PRO Certified or Partner accredited, which means you’ll probably have a strong understanding of the Workday ecosystem and the ability to navigate the different touchpoints
• Knowledge of Workday implementation tools (Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Studio, Workday Report Writer, and iLoad)
• Strong experience with custom objects in all areas of workday
Role and Responsibilities:
• Successful Workday implementation(s), from needs gathering to vendor evaluation, selection and RFPs, vendor management, and system integration experience
• Understanding of basic database architecture, tables, and functional interactions, and an ability to recognize and understand impacts on downstream systems
• Developed HR business processes and the knowledge of how they impact Payroll systems and technology. You understand that engineering Payroll systems automate processes and provide key insights to HR information and metrics that help support company growth
• Strong strategic thinking and the ability to translate business needs into HR technology solutions
• System Configuration: Configure and maintain Core HCM and Role-Based / User-Based Security to meet the organization’s business requirements.
• Generate regular reports and analytics related to module information for insights or audit purposes. Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements.
• Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve discrepancies, errors, and escalated employee inquiries within a respective module in a timely manner..
• Partner to train end-users and stakeholders on how to use different functionality within the module.
