Experience:

We are seeking a highly skilled Network & Systems Security Specialist with expertise in visitor management integration to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of visitor management systems, security protocols, network architecture, and system integration methodologies. This individual will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive visitor management solutions that align with our security standards and business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Visitor Management System Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate visitor management systems with existing security infrastructure, including Lenel S2 and other access control systems.
  • Solution Design: Architect robust and scalable visitor management solutions that meet the organization's requirements while adhering to industry best practices and security standards.
  • Technical Evaluation: Evaluate various visitor management tools, software, and technologies to identify the most suitable options for integration based on performance, security, and compatibility factors.
  • System Configuration: Configure and customize visitor management systems to accommodate specific security policies, access controls, and reporting requirements.
  • Integration Testing: Conduct thorough testing and validation of integrated visitor management solutions to ensure seamless functionality, data integrity, and optimal performance.
  • Security Compliance: Ensure that visitor management solutions comply with relevant regulatory standards and security protocols, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS.
  • Risk Assessment: Perform risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities within the visitor management ecosystem, proposing and implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
  • Documentation and Training: Create comprehensive technical documentation, user guides, and training materials to facilitate the deployment and ongoing support of integrated visitor management solutions.
  • Incident Response: Serve as a subject matter expert in incident response and troubleshooting, promptly addressing any security incidents, system outages, or performance issues related to visitor management systems.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and security threats related to visitor management, recommending, and implementing continuous improvements to enhance system functionality, performance, and security posture.

Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in network and systems security, with a focus on visitor management systems integration.
  • Must be Lenel Certified
  • Proficiency in access control systems, particularly Lenel S2, along with a strong understanding of network components, workstations, and server operating system management.
  • Extensive knowledge of visitor management tools, software, and integration options, including API integration, LDAP/Active Directory synchronization, and database integration.
  • Hands-on experience with security protocols such as SSL/TLS, IPsec, and encryption techniques.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware), networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and routing concepts.
  • Strong programming skills across multiple platforms and systems, with the ability to develop custom scripts and automation tools for system integration and configuration.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating security risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, present technical information to non-technical stakeholders, and provide training and support to end-users.
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or relevant vendor certifications (e.g., Lenel Certified Professional) are highly desirable.
