VDA is Hiring a CNC Operator Near Somerville, MA
VDA is seeking a full-time CNC Operator. The candidate who will be a great fit for our team will have experience in a custom fabrication shop including Corporate Events, Experiential Marketing Activations, Live Events, Trade Show Exhibits.
Responsibilities:
- Daily operation and maintenance of CNC Machines and software.
- Shop Sabre 510
- Sabre 408
- Create and interpret cut files for CNC Router.
- Cut and Label parts for production.
- Interact with draftsperson, shop managers, carpenters, and Graphics team to create CNC parts for production projects.
- Operate efficiently under time constraints and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrate knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes
- Utilize effective communication skills.
- Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail.
- Prioritize workload and communicate issues to ensure on time project completion.
Requirements:
- Knowledge and experience with Vectric VCarve Pro software.
- 1 years CNC operation experience.
- Wood fabrication knowledge or experience.
- Effective Communication skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Position: Full-time hourly with benefits.
Rate: $25 – $28
