VCUHSA VCU Health System Authority is Hiring a Remote Supply Chain Operations Trainer

SC Operations Training – Maintains a proficient understanding of all tasks within the Supply Chain Operations department areas (Central Supply, Distribution, and Receiving). Develops and delivers a comprehensive training program to equip our SC Operation’s team members with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles. The role designs and develops curriculum content tailored to the specific needs of our various departments, ensuring comprehensive coverage of SC Operation processes, policies, and customer service techniques. Ensures that the SC Operations Team members are proficient in handling all task related to the individual role with excellent customer service. This role will oversee quality assurance measures, regularly evaluating training effectiveness and implementing improvements as necessary. Essential Job Statements Develops and delivers training to existing team members and all new hires, to ensure operations maintain high quality service. Conducts training needs assessments across the various departments to identify gaps in efficiency and develop curriculum content to improve/close those gaps. Implements quality assurance measures to monitor efficiencies and review effectiveness of training programs. Collaborates with managers and supervisors to communicate ongoing shift responsibilities and accountabilities to the SC Operation process. Facilitates training through various methods including, classroom instruction, virtual training and on the job coaching. Maintains all training documentation and records including schedules, attendance, and quality assurance checklists. Stays updated on policy changes throughout the organization to educate and update leaders and team members as needed. Ensure responsibility and visible commitment of diversity equity and inclusion programs/initiatives through collaboration and implementation of initiatives across the health system. Employment Qualifications Required Education: High School Diploma or GED Preferred Education: Associate’s degree in related field (Business, Healthcare operations, etc.) Licensure/Certification Required: N/A Licensure/Certification Preferred: CPIM, CSCP, CTSC, or CLTD Minimum Qualifications Years and Type of Required Experience 5 years of Warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or supply chain logistics experience. 1 year experience in delivering training, implementing operational change, or program coordination preferred. Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Discretion in the proper handling of confidential information.
