The Department of Family Medicine and Population Health at Virginia Commonwealth University is currently recruiting for a Board Certified/Board Eligible family physician for the Tappahannock Family Practice clinic. Tappahannock Family Practice serves a rural population from the Middle Peninsula and Northern Neck regions of Virginia. The practice provides care for patients of all ages and includes opportunities for office-based procedures. As a rural site, the practice focuses on providing comprehensive care to all patients under their care. Tappahannock Family Practice is a busy clinical site and is a teaching office for School of Medicine Family Practice M3 rotations. Start date of approximately January 1, 2023 with competitive salary and generous benefit package as well as ability to earn clinical bonuses. This is a part-time position. The physician in this position will have the opportunity to be involved in medical student teaching and departmental research projects.

Chief Purpose of this position:
This position will provide mission critical patient care to rural Virginia through clinical practice at Tappahannock Family Medicine.
