Responsibilities

• Drive sales by cultivating and maintaining relationships with customers.
• Work closely with Design and Merchandising to identify market needs/trends and plan customer programs.
• Work closely with Product Development, Design and Sourcing to implement customer programs.
• Develop, maintain, and strengthen multi-level relationships with customers and company personnel to ensure optimal execution of plans.
• Maintain close working relationships with Sourcing and Inventory Control staff of company to understand their job responsibilities and requirements to improve interaction between Sales and customer.
• Partner with senior management to meet company sales goals, ensure total quality management, maintain timely deliveries, proper inventory levels and foster vendor relationships.
• Work with management to streamline product development process and procurement to maximize efficiencies and meet profit goals!
• Full P&L responsibility; accountable for all sales, margins, expenses, and customer allowances.

Qualifications/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3 years Merchandising experience.
• Minimum of 3 years selling experience in the home textiles industry or fashion apparel. Preferably selling experience in bath, bedding or Home Décor soft product line.
• Must have a successful record of closing the deal, building a business, and exceeding sales targets.
• E-commerce sales experience is a plus!
• Proven record of success in the management of an organization where there have been substantial profitable sales increase.
• Excellent analytical skills required.
• Excellent people skills must be flexible.
• Organized, focused individual who understands how to prioritize.
• Effective communication skills both oral and verbal
• Must be enthusiastic about consumer and product.
• Must be firsthand in his/her approach to work.
• Domestic travel required.
