VCA Laguna Niguel Animal Hospital is Hiring a Veterinary Receptionist Near Laguna Niguel, CA

VCA Laguna Niguel Animal Hospital, located in the heart of the beautiful city of Laguna Niguel, is seeking an amazing candidate for our Client Service Representative position. Full-time (30 hours per week) and part-time (15-25 hours per week) will be considered.

We are a four-doctor primary care veterinary practice that offers wellness and sick appointments, preventative care, general surgery, and dental services.

Our practice needs a friendly, caring and compassionate customer service oriented animal lover that will wow our clients and help our front desk run smoothly.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Customer service functions, including: greeting visitors, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments
  • Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients
  • Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments
  • Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior face to face customer service experience
  • Willingness to learn
  • Compassion for pets and people—as well as awareness and understanding of others’ reactions
  • Proven decision-making skills to choose the most appropriate course of action
  • The ability to integrate new information into problem-solving
  • The ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and be exposed to hazards associated with pets such as allergies, contagious diseases, noises, odors, bites, scratches, and animal waste

The pay range for this position is $17.00 to $20.00 per hour depending on experience. Weekday and Saturday availability preferred.
