VCA Avondale Pet Resort is a great place to begin or expand your career! We are looking for an enthusiastic, organized person to make the right first impression on pet parents.
This position includes the chance to help our vacationing guests get their perfect home-away-from home experience in one of our doggie dorms or deluxe vacation suites.
Once you are comfortable providing these services you will also be trained to make reservations, gather medical information, and coordinate the right vacation package for each pet.
You will even get the chance to help out in our Doggie Daycare! If you are a fan of the felines, we have a separate cat only boarding section where our feline friends can relax in a calm, quiet environment.
This position does require a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends and you must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
Our hospital has been serving the Des Moines community for over 45 years. We are AHAA accredited and believe in providing the best possible care to our guests.
We are a Gold Standard Feline Friendly practice and a Fear Free Certified Practice as well.
