VCA Gulf Bay Animal Hospital is seeking a full time Veterinary Technician to join our team in Clearwater, FL!

We are an AAHA-accredited 2-doctor practice, offering primary care, illness care, surgery, dentistry, and more. We see dogs, cats, pocket pets and rabbits, open Monday through Friday 7:30am - 7:00pm, Saturday 8am - 4pm, and closed on Sundays.

About the Role

As Veterinary Technician you will help create and maintain a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our patients and clients. Duties will include:

• Compassionate patient care
• Client education and care
• Venipuncture and catheter placement
• Radiology and diagnostics
• Lab sample collection and processing
• Surgical preparation and assisting
• Anesthesia monitoring
• Dentistry
• Medication preparation and administration
• Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
• Medical recordkeeping
