VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital is excited to add a second Radiation Oncologist to our team! Come join us at our state-of-the-art, 42,000 square foot facility where we focus on providing the utmost care, compassion and respect to our clients and patients in an atmosphere that promotes healing. We are proud of the positive culture in our practice, which results in easy collaboration between departments.
Along with our General Practice, we offer specialty services in Advanced Imaging, Behavior, Cardiology, Dentistry, Emergency/Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Oncology, Medical Oncology, Surgery, and Zoo Medicine. We maintain a strong culture of teaching in our hospital, with a large class of rotating and specialty interns, as well as residents in multiple specialties.
VCA West LA is at the forefront of technology, and we are fortunate to have clients who want to pursue advanced diagnostics. We have an onsite MRI, recently installed a 128 slice CT, are using high flow oxygen therapy, and have mechanical ventilation capabilities. We have a fully staffed and equipped Medical Oncology suite which includes our bone marrow transplant center. We also have a Radiation Oncology suite housing a new Trilogy Unit with Eclipse Software. In addition to our oncology department, we offer additional specialty services 7 days a week.
With the creation of VCA’s Pet CancerCare Alliance™, you can be a part of a unique brain trust of over 65 veterinary oncologists and a network of over 35 Pet CancerCare Centers across North America. Our Medical, Radiation and Surgical Oncologists work together to bring advanced treatments, technology and education to all veterinarians by providing collaborative care, research, clinical trials and leadership to help ensure that pets are living their best possible lives.

VCA Animal Hospitals offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including Medical/Dental/Vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, pet care discounts, paid vacation, holidays and sick days, health and well-being programs that provide resources and training. Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The annual salary range for this position is $145,000 to $200,000. This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.
