**VCA Chatoak Animal Hospital** is seeking a full time **Experienced Registered Vet Technician** to join the team at our AAHA accredited, full-service hospital in Granada Hills, CA.

**Compensation: $ 25.00 - $ 27.00 / hr**

**Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday 9am-6pm**

Our facility has been serving the community since the 60s. Chatoak's talented team of medical professionals are dedicated to delivering high quality patient care to cats & dogs. We have cultivated a compassionate, motivated culture and are seeking a like-minded technician to join the family and fulfill that mission.

Physical examinations and patient assessment

Anesthesia monitoring

Surgical preparation and assisting

Laboratory work

Venipuncture, IV catheter placement, IV fluid therapy

Catheter placement

Pharmacy

Patient recovery

Compassionate care of our hospitalized animals

All aspects of patient care

Animal handling and restraint

IM, IV,SQ injections

Dental cleanings/dental radiography

Digital radiography

Nursing care/hospitalization treatments

Client communication
