Our Hospital

VCA Bolingbrook Animal Hospital has been providing pets in Chicago’s western suburbs with the highest level of care since 1973. We have grown a lot since then, and are proud to embrace the latest technology and advanced treatments in our modern, spacious facility. We have been AAHA-accredited since 1980 and follow their high standards every day. Our services range from wellness care, dental care, and soft tissue surgery to advanced procedures such as orthopedic surgery, echocardiograms, and cold laser therapy in a setting where our clients and our patients are comfortable with the knowledgeable, compassionate veterinary team that they know and trust.

The DVM Experience

As a veterinarian at VCA Bolingbrook, you will be part of our collaborative team where we value quality medicine, open communication, and continuous support of one another. AAHA standards form the basis of our protocols for providing high-quality veterinary services, and we pride ourselves on our exceptional care for our patients, clients, and each other! Our skilled and enthusiastic support team is scheduled to best help you manage your patients and clients to make every day run as smoothly as possible. Every doctor has two dedicated Assistants / CVTs per shift when seeing appointments and on procedure days, and additional hospital staff monitoring patients and managing lab and pharmacy requests. We provide the time and support you need to give thorough care and communication during each appointment, allowing you to leave at the end of the day with your medical records written and your daily tasks completed. With flexible shifts, no Sundays, no on-call / after hours, and generous paid time off, our doctors have ample quality time off to recharge and relax.

Schedule: VCA Bolingbrook is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday. We are closed on Sundays. Our doctors work four weekdays and rotate half-days on Saturdays. There are no on-call shifts. Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities are available.

Location: VCA Bolingbrook is located at the intersection of Boughton Road and Route 53 in Bolingbrook, IL, 30 miles southwest of Chicago. Our hospital is easily accessible from area neighborhoods as well as major highways I-355, I-55, and I-88. We are surrounded by popular amenities including The Bolingbrook Promenade, Bolingbrook Golf Course, and many beautiful Forest Preserves. Just about anything you want is within a few minutes of our hospital.
