Position: RN Corrections Nurse
Location: Torrington WY
Shift: 7:00 PM-7:30 AM
Duration: 13 weeks
Guarantee: 36 Hrs.

Correctional nurses have a wide Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Knowledge of COVID-19 symptoms, transmission, and prevention.
• Ability to assess and provide nursing care to elderly patients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare team members.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor patient’s vitals and record them in their file.
• Assist nursing and medical staff with basic medical tasks, such as administering medication.
• Update patient records in a confidential manner
• Evaluate the patient’s wellbeing, reporting any needs to medical staff.
• Explain treatments and procedures to patients and families.
• Move patients from wheelchairs, beds, and gurneys.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $1,800.00 - $2,200.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week

Standard shift:

• Night shift
• Overnight shift

Weekly schedule:

• 3x12

Experience:

• RN: 1 year (Required)
• Travel nursing: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• RN License (Required)
• BLS Certification (Required)
