Summary
- Department: RN Telemetry
- Shift Timings: day 7am-7pm/ 7pm-7:30 AM
- Per Week: 36 hours
Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor patients' heart rhythms using telemetry equipment.
- Interpret telemetry data and respond to irregularities.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor effects.
- Conduct regular patient assessments.
- Document patient information and telemetry data.
- Communicate with the healthcare team to update care plans.
- Educate patients and families about their condition and care.
- Respond to emergencies, performing CPR and defibrillation as needed.
- Coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
- Maintain and troubleshoot telemetry equipment.
- Adhere to infection control protocols.
