What You'll Do:

• Provide comprehensive postpartum care to mothers, including monitoring vital signs, wound care, breastfeeding support, and emotional well-being assessments.
• Offer expert newborn care, including weight checks, feeding guidance, developmental assessments, and safety education.
• Collaborate effectively with families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless care experience.
• Document care meticulously and maintain accurate medical records.

What Makes You a Maternal Care Champion?

• New York State RN License is required.
• Current Maternal Child home health experience is a must.
• Two years of previous acute care experience in MedSurg, Maternal & Child Care, Critical Care, or Pediatrics is strongly preferred.
• A strong foundation in maternal and newborn assessment, education, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
• A compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
