Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

Shift: 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM

Location: Wetumpka, AL, 36092

Contract: 13 weeks

Pay: Negotiable

Duties:

- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs.

- Assist with patient assessments and develop care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.

- Administer injections and perform other medical procedures as required.

- Monitor and document patient progress, including changes in condition and response to treatment.

- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures, medications, and self-care techniques.

- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.

Qualifications:

- Valid State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.

- Proven experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a medical office or hospital.

- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.

- Proficient in performing vital signs measurements and other basic nursing skills.

- Ability to administer medications, including injections, accurately and safely.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
