Job Description:

As a Reservationist you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations of our surf school. You will be the first point of contact for potential customers, handling inquiries, reservations, handling customer payments, managing online transactions, and providing verbal assistance throughout their journey with us.

This role will start as a part-time position, with full time and growth opportunities after training.

Responsibilities:

- Manage incoming inquiries via phone, email, and in-person with professionalism and enthusiasm.

- Provide detailed information about our surf school programs, including lessons, rental options, and current weather/surf conditions.

- Assist customers in selecting the appropriate sservice based on their skill level and preferences.

- Process reservations accurately and efficiently using our booking system.

- Communicate and respond to customer questions via email, and other social media accounts.

- Coordinate with instructors to schedule lessons and ensure optimal use of resources.

- Communicate effectively with customers regarding booking confirmations, cancellations, and any changes to their reservations.

- Perform minor retail sales, and in store customer service.

- General shop and equipment cleaning.

Requirements:

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

- Proficiency with computer systems and booking software.

- Previous experience in customer service or as a reservationist, or similar role.

- Passion for surfing and knowledge of surf terminology and culture .

- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
