The Federal Proposal Writer will be a key driver of growth and business development for Vaultes. As an individual contributor, the Federal Proposal Writer will be responsible for aligning Vaultes to the right accounts and opportunities. They will be responsible for lead identification, qualification, and win strategy development, in addition to assisting through capture and proposal development. The Proposal writer will build and execute a business development process and workflow to include pipeline development, qualification, capture, and proposal development to reach the endgame and acquire deals. They will utilize new and existing channels including GSA schedule, joint venture, prime contracts, and contract vehicles to expand growth opportunities.

Ultimately, they will gain a deeper understanding of the federal procurement process and possess advanced writing and project management skills. As a federal proposal writer, the right candidate is to compete and win government contracts and grants. Their leadership is essential for crafting persuasive and compliant proposals that stand out in a highly competitive environment.

Location:

• Ideally located in the Jacksonville, FL area. 
• You must be legally authorized to work in the USA. Vaultes does not provide visa sponsorship.

Requirements

Responsibilities: 

· Collaborate with our team to develop compelling proposals for federal contracts, grants, and projects.

· Research and analyze solicitation documents, requirements, and evaluation criteria to develop targeted and winning proposals.

· Write, edit, and proofread proposal content, ensuring clarity, consistency, and compliance with all requirements.

· Work closely with subject matter experts to gather information and develop technical content for proposals.

· Assist in the coordination and production of proposal submissions, including formatting, graphics, and packaging.

· Participate in proposal review meetings and incorporate feedback to improve proposal quality and effectiveness.

Qualifications: 

· Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or related field.

· Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.

· Enthusiasm for learning and willingness to be trained in federal contracting processes and procedures.

· Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

· Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

· Strong understanding of technology is a bonus.

Nice to Haves

· Master’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or related field.

· Experience in a technology related field.

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
