Job Title: Senior Maintenance Technician

Shift: 1st shift, Monday to Friday, 6:30 am - 3:00 pm, occasional Saturdays

Pay: Competitive hourly rate ranging from $34 to $39/hr

Job Description:

As a Senior Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibilities include designing, installing, and enhancing repairs, modifications, and preventive maintenance procedures for industrial equipment. Additionally, you will play a key role in training and developing Maintenance Technicians within the team.

Preferred Experience/Skills:

• Minimum of 10 years of proven competence in industrial maintenance
• Mastery-level knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
• Proficiency in using various tools, including volt-meters and equipment (manual, electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic)
• Effective communication and strong problem-solving skills
• A 4-year technical degree is preferred, with journey worker certification being a plus

Roles and Responsibilities:

• As a Senior Maintenance Technician, you will be accountable for:
• Designing, installing, and continually improving repairs, modifications, and preventive maintenance on industrial equipment
• Training and developing Maintenance Technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge
• Responding to service calls, inspecting, diagnosing, fabricating, troubleshooting, and repairing machine problems, determining appropriate corrective actions
• Maintaining, setting up, and operating machinery equipment, including lathes, mills, surface grinders, etc.
• Performing fabrication of parts and equipment
• Executing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs, as well as problem-solving retrofits and emergency repairs
• Maintaining an organized parts inventory for common replaceable items and ensuring accurate daily recordkeeping within the company's computer maintenance management software (CMMS)
